Logarithmic scale: each mark is 100 times less likely than the one before. The longer the bar, the less likely the outcome.
To picture the longest of these odds: it is like guessing one exact second picked at random over 385 days.
WESTERN MAX is the regional “Max-style” lottery of the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC). It is sold only in the Prairie provinces and the northern territories and is not available through Loto-Québec, which offers Québec Max instead.
It is drawn on the same nights as the national Lotto Max. On top of the $2,000,000 top prize, additional draws award $1,000,000 prizes to exact 7-number matches. The odds of winning the top prize remain very long, about one in 33 million per play.
In Québec, buying lottery tickets and taking part in games of chance is restricted to people 18 and over.
The figures on this page come from the game’s official page, checked October 8, 2026. They can change, so always check the source before you play: www.wclc.com.
