Lotto Max

Overview

Lotto Max is the largest-format national lottery: each play bundles several 7-number selections, and the main draw is followed by Maxplus draws that set additional winning combinations. The starting jackpot grows from draw to draw until someone wins it, then resets.

Since the April 14, 2026 draw, one play includes 4 selections of 7 numbers from 1 to 52. The odds of winning the jackpot remain very long, so it is best treated as entertainment with a set budget, not as a way to win money.

Rules and how it works

• One play includes 4 selections of 7 numbers from 1 to 52, picked by you or generated at random.
• The main draw picks 8 numbers: the first 7 form the winning combination and the 8th is the bonus number.
• You win with 3 to 7 matching numbers in a single selection; the bonus only counts for the 6/7+B, 5/7+B, 4/7+B and 3/7+B categories.
• Maxplus draws set extra 7-number combinations: a selection must match all 7 numbers of one of them.
• Extra can be added to the ticket, and the Replay option lets you reuse the same selections.

Minimum age

In Québec, buying lottery tickets and taking part in games of chance is restricted to people 18 and over.
