Overview

PICK 3 is one of the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) PICK games, drawn every day and sold only in the Prairie provinces and the territories. It is not available through Loto-Québec; the closest Québec equivalent is Quotidienne 3.

The prize depends on how you play and how much you bet: exact order (Straight) pays more, while Box plays accept the digits in any order for a smaller prize. The odds stay the same from one draw to the next, since every draw is independent.

Rules and how it works

  • Pick 3 digits from 0 to 9 and a $1, $2, $5 or $10 bet.
  • Straight: all 3 digits in exact order, for $500 per $1 bet.
  • Box: all 3 digits in any order, for $80 (6-way) or $160 (3-way) per $1 bet.
  • Straight/Box combines both; Box is not available when all 3 digits are the same.
  • Sales close nightly at 9:30 p.m. CT, 8:30 p.m. MT or 7:30 p.m. PT.

Minimum age

In Québec, buying lottery tickets and taking part in games of chance is restricted to people 18 and over.
