Overview
La Mini is one of Québec’s oldest lotteries, first drawn in 1970. You do not pick your digits: each selection is a 6-digit number generated by the computer.
Matching just the first two or the last two digits in order wins a prize, which is why wins are more frequent than in the big lotteries, with smaller prizes.
Rules and how it works
- Quick Pick only: the 6-digit number is generated at random.
- The draw forms a 6-digit number: the first digit from 1 to 9, the next five from 0 to 9.
- The number can be matched in both directions.
- A selection wins if it matches at least the first 2 or the last 2 digits in order.
Minimum age
In Québec, buying lottery tickets and taking part in games of chance is restricted to people 18 and over.
