Poker
Hold’em with a 36-card short deck (no 2s to 5s): stronger hands and a modified ranking.
Hold’em 6+, also known as short deck, removes every card from 2 to 5. That leaves 36 cards, which means stronger starting hands and livelier pots.
Removing the low cards changes the odds: a flush becomes rarer than a full house and therefore beats it. The lowest straight is ace, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
In Québec, buying lottery tickets and taking part in games of chance is restricted to people 18 and over.
